SEMtech's free adult education program is a transformative initiative designed to bridge the technology education gap and foster inclusivity within the STEM fields. This program offers comprehensive courses in cybersecurity, information technology, and other STEM disciplines, tailored to meet the needs of adult learners seeking to enhance their skills or pivot into tech-centric careers. By leveraging the expertise of industry professionals and cutting-edge educational resources, SEMtech aims to empower participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to thrive in an increasingly digital world. This initiative reflects SEMtech's commitment to democratizing access to technology education, thereby contributing to a more diverse and skilled workforce.
Applicant's will be sellected on prestest scores administered by SEMtech. The next class will start in September. Space is Limited. Course starts September 2, 2024. Those selected for the program will be notified by June 30, 2024.
Classes Offered:
Information Technology Fundamentals, length, 6 weeks
Security+ length, 12 weeks
Network+ length, 12 weeks
Classes meet in-person three nights a week, from 4:30 - 7:30 pm
Each course leads to industry-level certification!
